Today, we had a series of cultural visit and activities.
In the morning, we went to the Immigrant Square which honors the heritage and history of the city-Clinton and the Little Italy Festival. We also went to the Little Italian House, Wine Museum where 2015 Grape Queen and Re and Regina introduced the Little Italy festival. We had the chance to go to Fossi's Bakery and talked to the owner which is very famous for baking Italian bread in town.
We felt extremely excited in meeting the policemen and firemen in Police Station and Fire Services Department. After that, we went to the Coal and Railway Museum.
We had Most Acholi, Cannoli and breadsticks as our lunch in the Wine Garden which are very typical in Italian Cuisine. After lunch, we tried the Italian Dance and everyone enjoyed it. Our students prepared a performance of Ocarina and acrobatics to show our gratitude as Little Italy House, Wine Museum and Wine Garden only opens 4 days a year at Little Italy Festival! They made special arrangement only for our visit.
