Our Interact Club organized an experiential education camp called "Amazing Lutheranians' Days and Night" at the school from 3 to 4 July. The aim of the camp is to encourage students to learn more about the lives and difficulties of people with disabilities through different game activities and bring out the message of caring to people who are in need. For example, through the "The Sims" and "School Orientation" games, students are allowed to experience the unfair treatment of people with disabilities in the community and the difficulties they are facing in their daily lives. Students also need to trust and cooperate with their schoolmates in order to complete the project. All these enhance students’ communication between each other.
After joining the event, students have written down their personal feelings towards the 2-day camp. The students understand more about the challenges of people with disabilities. They hope that the disabilities are treated equally by the community.
