Rectify Mind Cultivate Person
正 心 修 身 |
Our school motto is derived from the Great Learning (大學) which is a section of the Book of Rites(禮記).The original statement is, |
“To regulate your family, you should first cultivate yourself;
To cultivate yourself, you should first rectify your mind;
To rectify your mind, you should first be sincere.” |
In other words, in the pursuit of knowledge, students should first have a rectified mind and uphold sincerity to maintain a high level of morality and then put what they have learnt into practice in their daily lives. Hence they can contribute to the community and serve their country. |
