Korfball Team exchange activity
Date: 2 February 2018 |
We are glad to have the Kortball-team from Taiwan Taoyuan Neili Junior High School in our school on February 2. During the training, they exchanged valuable ideas on hybrid sport combines skills, techniques, and actions of korfball. The coach, Ms. Lam also shared essential skills, teaching points of korfball and engaged in the competition with our students. After the training, all students gathered in the common room to enjoy local food from Hong Kong. |

Inter-house Tug of War Matches

Warmest Congratulations to Our School Volleyball Team for achieving the 4th place in The Hong Kong Schools Sports Federation All Hong Kong Schools Jing Ying Volleyball Tournament. The competition was held at the Tsing Yi Sports Centre on 31 December, 2017. With our courage, perseverance and skills, we seized the 4th place after winning a series of tough matches! Alumni Basketball Match
Date: 17 December 2017 |
A basketball match was held at the school on 17 December. Two teams, formed by our teachers and alumni respectively, were lined up for the match. Our Vice Principal Mr. Tam was invited to kick off the event. Ms. Chan Yee Mui, the new Chairperson of The ELCHK YLLSS Alumni Association also came to support two teams. Finally, the alumni team won the intense game by a narrow margin. The competition has greatly enhanced the relations between alumni and the school. |

Yuen Long District Inter-school Swimming Championships

The Yuen Long District Inter-school Swimming Championships, organized by HKSSF Yuen Long Secondary Schools Area Committee were held on 12th and 13th October in Yuen Long Swimming Pool. All students were dedicated to strive for the best result for the team and the school. Finally, our school won the inter-school swimming champion as well as many events in Girls¡¦ and Boys¡¦ competition. The 55th Sports Day
Date: 27-28 September 2017 |
Our school¡¦s 55th Sports Day was successfully held at Tin Shui Wai Sports ground for Lutheranians to demonstrate their sportsmanship which strengthens the bonds among all of us. It was our honour to have Mr. YUEN Hon Wah, the Chairman of Yuen Long District Sports Association, as our Guest-of-Honour to officiate at the 55th Sports Day. In the opening speech, Principal Mr. WAN Ho Yin Hairo emphasized the importance of perseverance and Olympic Spirit. The students¡¦ motivation, motion and morale for excellence were uplifted. The Loyalty House was the overall champion and also won the cheerleading team award. The Sports Day was a big success, truly earning the ethos of friendship, respect and care. Congratulations to all the winners and those had tried their best! |
